Nike Back Your Block 2009
Under a new Back Your Block Visual Center, Nike rolled out a National
Grant Program that gave over half a million dollars to help community
sports organizations throughout the country.
It was a huge success, drawing over a thousand submissions, more than
half a million votes, thousands of current Facebook fans, and most importantly,
changing the lives of 225 passionate sports organizations in need, many of
which were on the verge of being eliminated. Back Your Block continues to
be an umbrella for communities across the country! Several (of many) design
pieces are shown below.
