WellDone International

WellDone is a nonprofit that focuses on the building and sustaining of wells in developing countries, specifically Africa. During my time as Creative Director in 2010, I designed and directed work for a variety of initiatives to support the cause and raise awareness—including brand strategy, print collateral, web design, installations, launch events, and more—with the best team I could've ever imagined.

In creating the messaging and communication pieces for WellDone, the focus was on elevating our impactful, emotive, and inspirational on-site photography through a clean and approachable design structure; Creating a feeling of hope and inspiration, rather than the traditional guilt and despair model.

WellDone Website & Collateral

Several updated comps of possible web experiences, along with the previous 2010 version that detailed the progress of each town’s well project. More coming soon.

WellDone Installations

In an effort to raise money for wells, establishments in San Francisco graciously partnered with us and allowed our team to take over their walls. We brought the remarkable and uplifting imagery from Africa into their spaces, and were able to build hundreds more wells as a result. Below are shots from The Summit in San Francisco & Red Rock Cafe in Mountain View.

Launch Event

To celebrate and raise awareness for FutureBuilding, a new technology that allows individuals to buy or gift well parts, WellDone had a launch event at one of San Francisco's best spaces, Public Works.
